Dreamy, timeless, instrumental electro synth-pop with touches of italo disco, new wave and ebm, 'Rêve De Plastique' sounds a bit like an early 80s, Depeche Mode / Vince Clarke soundtrack for a Commodore 64 or manga video game.
It shows the softer, more melodic side of Plastique De Rêve, that was present in the fantastic 'Lost In Kyoto' track on Mental Groove's Hosomaki Mix or in his 'Nekobus' digital single for netlabel SSS, and his ability to create little synthetic poems and melancholic atmospheres with just a few well designed electronic patterns.
